How to Delete Your XpressVPN Account & Data

We respect your privacy. You can delete your account and all associated personal data directly inside the XpressVPN app. This guide shows the exact steps and what to expect.

Important:
  • Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • All personal data associated with your account is removed as part of deletion.
  • If you subscribed via Google Play, deletion does not cancel billing automatically — see Billing note.

Steps to delete your account in the app

  1. Open the XpressVPN app.
  2. Go to Settings → Account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Review the confirmation message and tap Confirm.



What happens after deletion?

  • Your account access stops immediately.
  • Personal data associated with your account is scheduled for removal without undue delay.
  • We may retain minimal records required for fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations (e.g., transaction logs), which are not used to identify you beyond those purposes.

Billing & subscriptions (Google Play)

If you subscribed via Google Play, deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Play Store subscription. To stop future charges, please cancel the subscription in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions before or after you delete your account.
